Information for New Members

Monthly Meeting

Monthly meetings are held at the Moss St International, Slacks Creek. The Moss St. International is NOT in Moss St ( a trap for new members) it is in Monte St number 26 which runs off Moss St at the Kingston Rd end of Moss St
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, except January when the committee take a well earned break
Meetings start at 1930 hrs sharp. Most members arrive early and have a meal and a catch up before the meeting
Meetings last about 30 to 40 minutes, after which we usually return to the bar to continue our disitations on life, food, men, women, bikes and life in general.

Ride Calendar and Rides

The attached ride calendar gives the dates of all the rides and the meetings. Rides are usually conducted twice a month and leave from MacDonalds, Wembly Rd., Woodridge
Rides start at 0830 hrs sharp, and most members get there about 30 minutes before and have a coffee and a chat
The ride leader will detail the days ride, with route, fuel stops, comfort stops, lunch stops etc. about 10 minutes before departure.
Please ensure you have a full tank of fuel for the start of the ride.

Financial Issues

1. Ulysses joining fee is $20 and membership is $60 for 3 years. Forms are available on the Ulysses web site or from the Branch secretary. A photocopy of your license will be required with the application form. Please fill out “Logan City” as your preferred branch, because we get a kick back from the national organisation
2. A ride fee is applicable for each ride. The Logan City Branch ride fee is currently set at $1 and is collected at the start of each ride. Monies collected are used to subsidise members at some of our social events.
3. A fee of $1 is applicable at our monthly meetings. This money is also used to subsidises our members for our social events
